Sauna Saturdays at Hygge Life

Nomadic Roots is thrilled to announce our biggest partnership yet -- Sauna Saturdays with Hygge Life Shop & Cafe in Eagle-Vail, Colorado!

Seated right between local mountains of Vail and Beaver Creek, Hygge Life has been a cornerstone of Vail Valley home goods, interior design, and Scandinavian culture since 2017. Owners Alexandra and Koen brought the Dutch concept of "hygge" to the valley, integrating the idea of mindful, simple living with luxury design and European goods, along with the cozy hyggelig vibes of their cafe and outdoor lounge.

Of course, sauna is a cultural keystone in Scandinavia, and Hygge Life was eager to bring this unique hyggelig experience to the valley. With a small wood-fired sauna, the store has been offering winter après sauna sessions on Saturdays for years. But with increasing operational demands at the store and a need to offload the Sauna Saturday experience, Nomadic Roots was invited to take over!

With a sauna that holds up to 8 adults and expanded session offerings, Nomadic Roots is so excited to be part of the Hygge Life team to continue the Sauna Saturday traditions. Each session is a private 1-hour sauna soak for up to 6 people, and includes access to cold plunges and a complimentary beverage from Hygge Life Cafe that can be enjoyed before or after your session, either on-the-go or while lounging in a fireside adirondack chair at the outdoor space of Hygge Life Cafe.
