Nomadic Roots + Mountain Games Vail

Updated: Apr 22

If there is one event that defines summertime in Vail, it is the Mountain Games. Whether you are an athlete or a spectator, the Games are the most spectacular show of athletic prowess in the Mountain West.

From dog jumping to speed climbing to creek kayaking to fly fishing to downhill biking to uphill sprinting, the Mountain Games truly has something for everyone, especially those of us who love a good show. And now, the Mountain Games is bringing something for those of us who like to find a moment to relax amongst the hustle.

Nomadic Roots Sauna & Wellness has been hard at work behind the scenes organizing our biggest event EVER in partnership with the Mountain Games & our friends at the Vail Valley Foundation!

Picture this: Two wood-fired saunas, four cold plunges, a cold shower, a cozy outdoor lounge, unique recovery tools, and guided contrast therapy support to ensure your perfectly elevated relaxation experience. There is no better way and no better place to find a moment of zen than at the Mountain Games Zen Zone at Ford Park.

Included on the schedule are daily yoga classes by renowned local instructors, where you can maximize your relaxation and connection with outdoor movement before stepping into one of our wood-fired saunas for a deep sweat and good conversation.

And, of course, any Mountain Games athlete will receive their first sauna session free of charge!

Nomadic Roots will be offering transferrable punch passes that can be shared amongst friends or single passes to get a quick rest between events. With 1-hour sessions available on a rolling start, drop-ins are encouraged and welcome! We will not be offering book-ahead or private sessions to encourage community gathering and open access to all, regardless of schedule.

Single pass: $30

3-Punch (transferrable): $75

6-Punch (transferrable): $125
